Sulbactam sodium is irreversibly competitive β- Lactamase inhibitor, produced by gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria (except Pseudomonas aeruginosa) β- All lactamases have inhibitory effects. After irreversible reaction with the enzyme, the enzyme is inactivated, and the enzyme activity can not be recovered after the inhibitor is removed. Effects of sulbactam sodium on Staphylococcus aureus and most gram-negative bacilli β- Lactamase has strong and irreversible inhibition.
USES & EFFECTIVENESS
1. Schubatana is a competitive and irreversible β- Lactamase inhibitors. It and β- Good synergistic effect can be obtained after the combined application of lactam antibiotics.
2. For β- Lactamase inhibitors.
3. It is used to produce antibiotics for injection.
