OVERVIEW

The chemical name of phenylalanine is α- Amino group- β- Phenylalanine, with the molecular formula c6h5c2h3 (NH2) CO2H, mainly includes L-phenylalanine, D-phenylalanine and DL phenylalanine. L-phenylalanine is a white crystalline or crystalline powder, slightly bitter, soluble in water and insoluble , ethanol, ether, etc. L-phenylalanine is one of the eight essential amino acids, and it is also an important raw material for tyrosine synthesis in vivo.
