Lysine is one of the essential amino acids in human body. It not only participates in some metabolic processes, but also affects the absorption and metabolism of other amino acids. The results of the present study indicate that lysine can inhibit the replication of the scars virus, prevent angina pectoris and myocardial infarction, reduce the incidence rate of stroke in the hypertensive rats, and improve the memory function of the patients with memory loss, which also has barbiturate anticonvulsant effect. Lysine reaches the brain through the blood cerebrospinal fluid barrier through the essential amino acid transport system. It plays an important role in metabolic process.
USES & EFFECTIVENESS
1) Lysine can be metabolized into acetyl coenzyme A in human body. Acetyl coenzyme A is one of the important conditions for the synthesis of acetylcholine. Under the condition of brain injury, brain nerve cells are in shock or living state. Some metabolism in the body, such as pyruvate, is impaired and cannot be oxidized to produce acetyl coenzyme A. supplementing a certain amount of lysine can accelerate metabolism to produce acetyl coenzyme A and excite the central nervous system.
2) Lysine is the most important component of neuropeptide, and neuropeptide is the functional unit of human nerve tissue. After craniocerebral injury, the function of neuropeptide chain is inhibited. Supplementing enough lysine can activate the physiological function of neuropeptide, wake up and promote the recovery of brain memory.
3) Lysine has barbiturate like effect. Barbiturates can reduce brain edema caused by operation, trauma or ischemia and hypoxia.
