OVERVIEW

   L-phenylalanine (PHE) is a white flake crystalline or crystalline powder with a slight special smell and bitter taste. It is slightly soluble in water and insoluble in ethanol. L-phenylalanine is an essential amino acid that cannot be synthesized by human body. Proteins in most foods contain almost unlimited amino acids. It can be added to baked food. In addition to strengthening phenylalanine, it can react with carbohydrates to improve the flavor of food. In the food industry, it is mainly used as the synthetic raw material of aspartame; It can also be used as a nutritional supplement.
